“Great location for skiers. Value is ok. Stay is unique”

I liked being right on the hill. The location is beautiful. The on resort meals were surprisingly good. Has a cool Swiss vibe and the ski hill is the BEST in Wisconsin! It's also within 30 mins of 3 other major ski resorts in the area. Room was not very sound proof. We were put right next to the bar. Fortunately the bar got quite around my bed time. We also paid a resort fee of $25 on top of our room cost. Not a HUGE deal, but was a surprise. Maybe I missed something in the description, however this should just be baked into the overall cost. I expect when I pay the amount on bookings, that I'm covered 100%. Parking was also a bit of a challenge

“Enjoyed our ski trip.”

I appreciated the ski‑in ski‑out convenience and not having to drive from Ironwood or other spots. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms had been updated, but they could have used a few extra chairs.

The bed’s firmness caught me off guard; it’s a memory‑foam style, which works well for some but not for others.

Having the restaurant and bar on site was great, and the staff were fantastic—very accommodating since we couldn’t leave our pets in the room to dine. However, the $50 pet fee per animal, non‑refundable, felt steep, especially since our dogs behaved perfectly. We were glad to stay with them, but the deposit was excessive.

The place looked nice, but I never got my room and no clerk was available after 10 pm.
