The staff seemed to dislike their jobs; no one was rude, but when we asked why the pool was closed—and it was indeed closed—no one apologized or offered a sincere apology, and there was no welcoming smile. The windows were covered in plastic because the building was being painted, so there was no view, and they couldn’t open. The air conditioner had only two settings: on or off, with no temperature control. Small plaster chips were on the stairs and hallway. Breakfast was paid, even though the website claimed it was free.

The staff were great—friendly, courteous, and helpful—but the toilet was too low, and the caulking in the bathroom needed a bit more attention to look tidy.

The food was bad and the coffee dispenser was always empty, nothing else worth mentioning.

Check‑in was easy and the staff were great, but the shower was almost unusable and I only noticed that on the morning of checkout; the front desk apologized, but overall the place just needs a bit more cleaning and the lack of a weekday breakfast buffet was disappointing.
