The building has a unique character, with e‑bike rentals nearby and staff who are very courteous. The room itself is gorgeous and distinctive, and the terrace is spectacular. Breakfast is excellent.

Staying at this ryokan felt like an authentic experience, with no sprawling lawns but breathtaking views of the Fuji when it appears—our first day was a bit dull, but the second day improved until we could see it in all its glory. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. The ryokan is modest yet delivers exactly what it promises, and the price‑quality ratio is unbeatable. I’d definitely return. The area boasts spectacular restaurants; it’s a residential zone, so you’ll need to wander a bit, but it’s worth it.

The value for money is outstanding; I absolutely recommend taking the breakfast package, which is truly worth it and delicious. The managers are genuinely kind and even offer a free shuttle to the station, which is very convenient—just be sure to take it. The private onsen is well worth the extra cost, and I also suggest sleeping in the tatami futon room; it was a wonderful experience, and the view was breathtaking. Everything was fantastic.

The location is extraordinary. We were lucky to see Mount Fuji from the roof at six in the morning. The owner is a very pleasant and helpful person, always ensuring you’re comfortable and solving any issues that arise. The traditional Japanese breakfast is extraordinary. The only downside is the shared bathrooms; it’s uncomfortable not having a bathroom in the room and having to go to the onsen to shower.
