The price was pretty good compared to other offers, yet we booked on the day of arrival and the host demanded a £60 deposit that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the listing. I couldn’t transfer the money because I live abroad, and the host only later gave me an IBAN, which was stressful and unaccommodating, especially since we were only staying one night and weren’t warned beforehand about the deposit. The room was small but functional, and there was only one bathroom for four occupied rooms.
