Very clean and the location is excellent. The bathroom in the room was open and there were no slippers, and there was no water service in the room; on the first day they put a bottle of water in the two‑person room.

The location is great, the rooms feel cozy, and breakfast is solid. I could walk straight into the brewery from the hotel.

The place is well situated. It’s noisy, and not everything was clean.

Central, just a few minutes’ walk from Heumarkt, and the price‑to‑value ratio is decent. The staff are very friendly. Because the hotel is part of the brewery and next to a venue, expect some late‑night noise from partygoers and hallway chatter. The room equipment is basic, but that’s acceptable for the price in Cologne.

The spot is ideal for a city trip or a visit to the Cologne football clubs. The interior looks freshly renovated, the mattress is comfortable, and the bathroom fixtures are high‑quality. Public transport to the main station or to Deutz/Lanxess Arena is excellent. The staff were very polite, welcoming and friendly at both arrival and departure, and they even stored my luggage after checkout without any hassle. I was asked to pay €25 for an early check‑in (which I didn’t use) and I found the €19 breakfast too pricey, so I didn’t try it either.
