The Townhouse Boutique Hotel

We’ve been here a few times and would definitely recommend it, whether staying over or just visiting the bar area. The only snag was that in Room 6 the heating was too hot and neither we nor the staff could turn it down; it got so warm that we felt unwell, but the staff were great and moved us to another room straight away. Excellent customer service and wonderful staff—thank you. The only problem was that Room 6 was way too hot to stay in.

“Good quality modern hotel with great staff and great facilities.”

The room and hotel all looked quite modern and relatively new, with nice decor and good facilities. The little kitchenette was ideal and the delivery of continental breakfast to the room was a nice touch I’d never experienced before. The bar and restaurant downstairs were also modern, reasonably priced and had a good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The only issue was that we experienced quite a lot of noise from the street; the location is in a town centre with pubs all around.

“Lovely clean comfortable room.”

Clean room. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy with the winds through the night.

“A☆”

The room was really big, the shower was big, the bed was big, and there was lots of wardrobe space. The thing that was really good was that it had a mini kitchen in it—a sink, washing liquid, washing up sponge, tea towel, and a star. The sink was a little small; that’s the only thing I would change about the room.

Room had excellent facilities, all cleaned to a very high standard. Would highly recommend. Nothing to add.
