The host was friendly and very accommodating, like most Georgians, and the rooms offered good value for money. The road to the guesthouse is really rough, but it can still be driven by most cars (we saw a stock Opel Astra clear the road just fine), though it takes a while.

The homemade food was absolutely delicious, and the family’s own wine made us truly feel that we were in the heart of a wine country.
