The location and cleanliness were solid, and I appreciate the staff’s help with late check‑in. On the downside, the lady’s attitude soured when I changed my dates; she forced me into a room without a heater, though the male staff were kind and understanding; she seemed a bit rude out of disappointment.

The family running the guesthouse is very charming and welcoming; they kept our belongings while we trekked on foot until we returned, the breakfast is hearty, and the premises are clean.

The hostel is within walking distance of Karakol’s center, the owner and family are very kind and friendly, the place is clean, the room is spacious, the bathroom facilities are good, laundry costs are reasonable, breakfast is great, and you can park a car if needed (though we didn’t).

The family are very friendly and helpful, and we felt like part of their family; the breakfast was delicious, and the location is just a few minutes from the park, so I highly recommend it.
