The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage

“Absolutely fantastic. We wanted to stay longer and tried to change our flights to do so. Will definitely be returning”

The location is incredible and the facilities are great. We ate at the Edge restaurant and the food was amazing. The staff were all very friendly, and the rooms were a good size.

The property is amazing; everything was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and breakfast was outstanding. It was a beautiful, relaxing stay, highly recommend.

“I should not have gone.”

Nothing positive. Everything was bad, especially the staff who were so rude. Never again.

“Service and attention to detail is sadly lacking on multiple fronts”

Housekeeping was great, but when we checked in we were offered a $1,000 extra per night upgrade that was quickly cut to $500 after the front‑desk staff saw us. They never showed us to our room or the facilities, and there were no modern USB chargers or a charging station, not even in the club lounge where business services were supposedly offered. The club lounge was not signposted, oddly located on the 3rd floor with no views, feeling more like a poor airport lounge. The champagne and wine were good, thanks to the attentive staff. Room‑service trays were left out for adjoining rooms for days on end. The adult pool was very small and clearly reserved for corporate events, so the grassy areas were out of use and the noise was intrusive. Parking cost €50.00 plus tax.

“Not even a welcome drink provided.”

They were understanding about how unenjoyable our stay turned out to be. Later check‑in luggage was delayed because it went missing, the fire pit couldn’t be used due to weather, and the restaurant on the edge was closed Monday and Tuesday.
