The location is exceptional and the place is in a great spot, the hosts are very friendly and hassle‑free. The only downside is that there are no restaurants within walking distance.

The property is very beautiful! A few minutes by car, the resident manager of the BB was very friendly and helpful, showing us the accommodation and the other buildings of the historically significant castle in a charming way. We were allowed to use the generously sized rooms on the ground floor with a well‑equipped kitchen without restrictions. On the first floor, we had a large bedroom with a gallery and a separate, modernized bathroom for us alone. The manager prepared a nice and abundant breakfast buffet for both of us. During two of the three nights we were alone in the large castle area, and on one evening another (very nice) guest arrived. We would have liked to mingle with other guests. Below the castle runs a heavily trafficked street, which is not very pleasant at night with an open window. Unfortunately, only a few restaurants were open on Saturday and Monday in the nearby area. We did spend a lovely evening in the surprisingly lively city of Bulle. Clearly, the BB is not at fault for the mentioned circumstances.

The location is nice, the reception is very friendly and helpful. It is simply equipped but has everything you need. There is also a small kitchen. Very clean.

A stunning chateau, though the surroundings felt a bit untidy. The breakfast spread—bread, jam, cheese, cold cuts, hard‑boiled eggs—was fairly ordinary, yet the quality of everything offered was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly. On the downside, a single bathroom on the floor (toilet, shower, sink all in one room) could cause a bottleneck when fully booked; fortunately I was the only guest. It would have been helpful to know that parking is allowed and encouraged in the courtyard. I ended up waking the neighbors in the house behind the chateau late at night.
