“A great base from which to explore the lovely city of Konstanz”
The spot is fantastic, with free parking and scenic walks just outside the property, a great view of the lake, and only a few minutes on foot from both Konstanz’s center in Germany and Kreuzlingen’s center in Switzerland! The room was fairly basic but clean, comfortable, and roomy, featuring a powerful shower that was perfect for easing leg muscles after a seven‑hour walk exploring the area. If you’re driving, look for the car park in front of the domed arena building and you’ll spot the hotel reception on the left as you enter the front doors. Nothing really to complain about.
The location is excellent—just a five‑minute walk from the lakeside and the city center; breakfasts are hearty, and you can leave your car in the parking lot and explore the town. I might have expected a slightly cozier room, but the hotel blends into the sports complex, so the rooms are quite Spartan; however, everything is very clean and the bed is large and comfortable.

Because I joined the Lake Constance cruise, the location was ideal! The spot by the beautiful Bodensee is lovely! I just had a bit of bad luck—😌 there were many partygoers in the hotel, so it was very noisy all night and I could barely sleep!!!! A poor setup for a platinum tour of 300 km around Lake Constance!!😌
