The hotel sits right at the edge of the pedestrian zone and you don't hear any street noise. There are many restaurants and shops just a few meters away, and the port is less than a 10‑minute walk. The room gets cleaned every day and fresh water bottles are supplied daily. Breakfast begins at 8:00 am and offers a good variety. The roof terrace gives a partial city view and there's a pool for relaxing, while the staff are very helpful and give great restaurant recommendations. However, parking is difficult if you arrive by car, especially in the evenings; the free parking is near the school and a 500‑meter walk to the hotel, which lets you see the daily life at the bakery, coffee shops, and small markets on the way.

“Very average, parking an issue, beddin an issue, no lift and very angry about the bed bugs. Can do much better. Ironica”

The location is good, but I was bitten by bed bugs and ended up covered in bites. There were no blankets, only rough sheets which I think is where the bugs were. The staff were somewhat friendly—just a hello would have been nice—but they didn't offer any service or ask how our stay was when we checked out. Breakfast was very ordinary and the cordial was not juice.

“Prima verblijf voor de prijs”

The location was ideal; you can walk straight into the center. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast could be better and it looks much nicer in the photos than in reality.

The only positives were the location and the nearby parking. Getting to the hotel was very complicated, but fortunately I am used to driving in Turkey. The breakfast was not exceptional, always the same food and not good. The staff were not chatty except for one young woman who approached us to ask what else we wanted on the breakfast (omelette or pancake). As for cleanliness, there was a toothbrush on the floor when we arrived and it was still there after our 2‑night stay; it might still be in the room. I do not recommend this hotel despite the attractive price.
