The staff were very friendly and courteous, and even though we didn’t speak Japanese, the team used phone translation to help us and provide everything we needed, so the check‑in felt great. The air‑conditioner couldn’t change the airflow direction and had a fixed vent, so it felt a bit old; there was a noticeable cigarette smell in the room, but after opening the window for ventilation and turning off the air‑circulation system, the smell disappeared.
