The spot was handy for morning coffee, but the bathroom door wouldn’t latch, Wi‑Fi was non‑existent on our devices, only three TV channels worked and everything else was just black and sound; parking was almost impossible, the few spots they had were behind Tim Hortons.

“Gutes Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt”

We had a ground‑floor room that was clean and the beds were cozy; we were welcomed warmly and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Across the street was a Tim Horton’s, but we couldn’t have breakfast there because half the place was out of power, so we grabbed coffee and a cookie at Bugwood Coffee instead. The room facing the street was a bit noisy.

“Can’t say enough about the good service here”

The front desk was exceptional; as an elderly, handicapped traveler, I asked on short notice to be moved to the first ground floor. They promptly shifted us from basement rooms to the main floor and even gave us the room nearest the front door. The service was excellent, and there were no negatives.

“Overall it was ok”

The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shops, and the front desk staff were pleasant to work with. However, bringing luggage in is a hassle because you have to carry it up stairs from the second floor entrance, which is tough when you have a dog crate. You end up making multiple trips, which is very inconvenient. The place was quite noisy, with people walking that you normally can't hear in most hotels—perhaps the building is old. There was no staff in the morning or evening, and I saw people waiting to check out with no one present. I wondered what would happen if someone accidentally left their key card in their room; they would have no way back in.
