The spot was perfect – great location, a nice view, and the chance to see real Armenian life away from the crowds. The hosts brought us buttery goodness, fresh milk, and tasty eggs – unforgettable food. A private parking spot for the rental car was a real plus, handy and secure. All in all, a lovely, authentic experience.

We booked dinner and breakfast – the portions were huge and the host was warm. From the living‑room window, the view was lovely, and the Sanahin monastery is just a 6‑minute walk. We got there before the crowds and it felt amazing. Only one night, but definitely coming back.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place made me. Stop comparing and just book – it’s a perfect countryside stay with all the comfort you need and no loss of authenticity. It felt like my old couchsurfing days, and Sirouchik is a lovely person. Buses to Alaverdi run every 30 minutes for just 100 AMD, no hassle at all.
