The Abcot Inn features a large outdoor pool and free WiFi, with air-conditioned rooms offering refrigerators, tea and coffee facilities, and en-suite bathrooms. Some rooms include kitchenettes or spa baths. Located near restaurants and shops, the inn is across from the Kareela Golf and Social Club, 20 minutes from Sydney Airport, and 10-15 minutes from Cronulla Beach and nearby suburbs.

The room was great, and the location was perfect because I know the area well and could find it easily even after a late night out; the cost was reasonable, not extravagant at all, and it was definitely worth it—I’ll come back when I’m in Sydney again. I wish the fridge had regular milk for coffee and a microwave so I could heat up some quick meals instead of eating out or ordering delivery.

It’s close to the main road, has onsite parking, and is easy to find, but the building is old with outdated toilets, showers, and other facilities, and the bed had a broken leg.

The motel rooms weren’t what the ads promised; the screen windows were ripped and needed replacement, the bathroom toilet roll holder kept falling off, the lounge was dirty and in need of a clean, and overall the place feels stuck in the 70s and 80s—its sign doesn’t even stand out on the road as advertised.
