The breakfast spread was absolutely divine—really good! The staff and the drinks were also great, and the value for money was excellent. Even though the facilities look a bit old, they’ve been refurbished and everything was very clean, so the hotel delivers on its promises.

The coffee was plentiful and varied, with plenty of fruit and other options; I thought there could have been more sweet choices—only two types of cake were offered and they weren’t restocked while I was there. The hotel could update its bedding and pillows; they’re old and misshapen. The room I stayed in was also quite noisy.

Given the size of the hotel, it’s possible to offer a more varied breakfast, but everything that was available was of good quality; the juice selection was particularly positive. I have no complaints, but I’ll note three things: in room 208 the bathroom door knob needs tightening—it’s loose. The fan in the room only works off or at maximum, which may need review. In the bathroom there appears to be a crack in the grout or something similar, which caused water to leak at the lower part, apparently at the junction between the water pipe and the tap (spout). I heard other guests complain about noise coming from the vacant lot next to the hotel, but I think it’s a sporadic issue. However, if I were in a similar situation, I would request a room change or cancellation. Silence is essential during hotel events; many were working and preparing for difficult performances.
