It was super central and lovingly decorated with a personal charm (lots of pink). The view of the old fortress is fantastic, the hostess was very friendly, and the parking is only 50 m from the house.

The host was incredibly kind and served us a breakfast straight from her kitchen. When the wind blew outside, it felt like a ghost was haunting the apartment.

I’ve stayed in seven different places over the past two months, and this one stood out as exceptional. Chantal, the host, is a local expert who shares plenty of town insights. The bedroom opens onto a balcony with a sitting area overlooking the palace ruins, which glow at night. The bed is spacious and cozy. Breakfast on the downstairs patio was tasty, featuring eggs cooked to order and fresh local fruit. I can’t wait to return and would gladly stay at any of her other two properties.
