We chose a hotel near the city centre, which is ideal in that sense—just a five‑minute walk to the Citadel on one side and to the old town on the other. The room was comfortable, but tea bags, coffee, and even a spoon in the room would have been nice. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace offered a good view of the old city. The staff were friendly and polite.

I had an exceptional stay in the heart of Old Bukhara! The location is perfect, within walking distance of the historic city centre and all the main attractions. One of the highlights is the beautiful rooftop terrace, offering stunning views over the Old City—the perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Bukhara. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, creating a pleasant and welcoming environment. The breakfasts were delicious, fresh, and satisfying, making every morning a great start to the day. What truly makes this place special is the hospitality of the owners. They are incredibly kind, polite, and attentive, always ready to help and make guests feel at home. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we left with wonderful memories. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting beautiful Bukhara!

The terrace is magnificent, right next to Bukhara’s central market where you can buy grapes, figs, a bottle of local wine, and watch the sunset over the old town; in October we needed a jacket for that. We had a clean room on the first floor. Breakfast was tasty: samsa, eggs, some local cheese flatbreads, salads, baklava, and honey cake. Coffee was instant, tea in bags. It’s better to arrive early for breakfast—there are fewer rooms, though there’s more food than people, so the best dishes get eaten quickly. Sometimes the water pressure was an issue, but showering was fine. There isn’t a formal reception; a family lives here, so if something comes up we asked one of them for help.

The girl who manages the accommodation is lovely and ready for anything you need; she speaks English very well. Breakfast on the terrace is spectacular, and the three days varied a lot in the breakfast options. Everything is immaculate and it’s clear the place has been open for a short time. A quiet street just steps from the city’s main monuments.
