The hotel feels like a slice of serenity inside a 12th‑century building in a fascinating corner of Barcelona, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The restaurant was lovely, and the Relais & Châteaux status was well deserved. There was nothing we didn’t like.

The welcome was friendly and professional, and the location right in the center was ideal. The restaurant was very good, and even during a thunderstorm the service remained top‑class. The taxi access is tricky, but the hotel staff handled it well. However, the booking service with SunTransfer communicated poorly, didn’t adapt to train delays, and I lost time trying to pre‑reserve through Booking; the price was at least double a normal taxi. Bad service.

An amazing hotel in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, next to the cathedral. Quiet rooms, comfortable. The breakfast was very nice in a space with a distinctive style. The staff are wonderful, polite, friendly, and always cheerful. It definitely pays for the money!

Everything was beautifully arranged, the food tasted great, the room was small and cozy, and there were plenty of amenities like food, drinks, a steamer, and a heated towel rack. Absolutely perfect! I can't find any fault.
