It was exactly what we needed for a one‑night stay with a dog, though there were no breakfast options that week.

Breakfast isn’t offered mid‑week, but there were plenty of nearby spots to grab a bite. We had a decent dinner on the first night, which felt good value for money. On Tuesday, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, creating a warm and inviting vibe in the pub on a fairly quiet evening. Overall, it was a solid start to our short birdwatching break. However, when the staff changed on Wednesday, the new team’s attitude was completely different and left us very disappointed.

“Not the best”

The location was perfect for me. Unfortunately, the staff weren’t very friendly, the room was very basic, and there was no parking available because of an event at the pub.
