Being at a railway and bus hub made getting anywhere easy, and the airport rail station is about a five‑minute walk away; they upgraded us from a type 25 to a type 30 room, which was very spacious and offered a nice view over central Jakarta. Breakfast was a standard variety for a hotel of this class, and the Alotels brand quality gave me confidence, with complimentary minibar juice, snacks and a Dolce Gusto machine (though the hotel didn’t restock it). The entrance was extremely confusing, and you have to take an elevator up to the 12th floor to reach reception, yet there’s no clear signage on the ground floor. The elevators serve both guest rooms on the upper floors and office areas, so they get very crowded during commute times and lunch, leading to long waits. I missed having a pool and gym, as exercising with a view over downtown Jakarta would have been great.

The hotel sits right next to BNI City Airport Train Station, Sudirman Commuter Station, Dukuh Atas MRT, and is within walking distance of Tosari BRT station. In the evenings it gets lively with plenty of food options, a convenience store, and a food court right in the building, and the streets feel safe to stroll around after dark. The only downside was the limited supply of drinking water; I hope the management takes this feedback into account, as others have mentioned the same issue.

It’s simple great!! And the rooftop cafe is an eye catcher! Rooms are spot on! Go for it!!. That I only booked for 3 nights! Had to be more :)
