The location, reception, and calmness were good, but the room was very small and the hotel felt a bit old‑fashioned.

We chose this hotel mainly because it was easy to locate. Parking is convenient and the restaurant offers decent food, and the staff speak good English, which we appreciated. However, the hotel looks quite shabby; the lounge has only two tables, one of which is almost falling apart, and a cat was allowed to roam in the breakfast area, which was not very hygienic.

The spot was super convenient for the ferry/eurotunnel, just 17 minutes away. Breakfast featured a nice selection of cereals, a small amount of hot dishes, pastries, and more. On the downside, you could hear a lot from neighboring rooms because the soundproofing was poor. The price felt a bit steep for the standard of the hotel, probably due to its location.
