The family‑run guesthouse is quiet and convenient, about a 15‑minute walk from the train station, and the center of Padua is easily reachable from there. The owner, who has been running the house for two generations, is very friendly, speaks excellent German, and shared many useful tips about Padua. Breakfast is served in a cozy, family‑style setting and includes everything you need; we especially enjoyed the homemade dishes and regional products. Our apartment in a two‑storey building was spacious, very quiet, and decorated with great attention to detail, almost feeling like a private Italian family home. The roomy bathroom, comfortable living areas, and secure courtyard parking were also highlights. It’s a special place with a personal atmosphere. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return.

“Bon plan à Padoue”

The hosts’ kindness and helpful advice, the very comprehensive welcome booklet that guided us through Padua, the size of our accommodation, the excellent varied breakfast, and the proximity to Padua’s center were all wonderful. Once again, the steep staircase to the room was a bit of a challenge, especially for heavy luggage.

“Old and new coexist and and is waiting for you in Padua PADOVA VÁR”

From the very first minute we were offered coffee and cappuccino. The transport links to the motorway, Padua city centre, and Venice are excellent. We were fully satisfied with the welcome and the information about the accommodation (like the automatic gate) and Padua. The host, who loves Hungarians, gave us a description in Hungarian: MAGYAR NYELVŰ TÁJÉKOZTATÁST KAPTUNK PADOVÁRÓL. Despite the extreme heat, we slept in great air‑conditioned comfort. Breakfast was excellent and personalized. The whole experience felt very much like being among family, thanks to the hospitality and preparedness of Filippo and her family. They respected our privacy and carried out their duties for guests almost unnoticed. The only downside was the noisy road crossing near the house.

The owners are very courteous and friendly, and the accommodation is large and well‑maintained. If you’re traveling by car (since the lodging is a few kilometres from the centre), I highly recommend it.

We stayed four nights at Casa Camilla and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is personal and family‑like. Filippo, who runs the place, is always available with advice and tips. His parents, especially the mother, prepare a superb breakfast served on the terrace. Padua is a great base for visiting Venice. Filippo can drive guests to the train when needed, and you’re in Venice in 20 minutes. Parking is available on the secured property right next to the house. Everything is perfect and complete.
