It’s a good stopover between Windhoek and southern Namibia, and the nearby Queever Tree Forest is a 20‑minute drive away. The property is being renovated, at least in some areas, but that didn’t spoil the overall stay, which was excellent. The rooms are enormous with modern, spacious bathrooms. Strangely, the rooms feel a bit cold and impersonal. Still, the value for money is extremely good. Parking is secure inside, and you can enter and exit easily by pressing the remote on the gate. Breakfast is good, following the usual mix of kitchen and buffet. The service is efficient, but sometimes a bit sluggish, as if fatigue and gloom had taken over.
