The owner treated us badly because we are black, turned off the hot water, and claimed she wouldn’t clean our room since we booked for two nights. We had to shower with cold water while it was very cold outside. The staff’s behavior was unacceptable.

The room was large and close to the beach, restaurants were a few minutes by car, and the view from some rooms was nice. We received no pre‑arrival information about check‑in; I only learned from a previous review that the key had to be picked up from the restaurant. Wi‑Fi details were missing, and when we finally accessed it, it didn’t work properly. The accommodation sits above a grill restaurant. The window cannot be opened all day, and the stairwell smells continuously. Toilet paper cannot be thrown in the toilet, though an open bin is provided, so the smell can linger for hours. We were given no guidance on waste disposal. This was our most expensive stay, so I was disappointed.

The room was huge, probably three times the size of a typical hotel room, and it offered a lovely view. The pension host was friendly, but when we went downstairs to the restaurant, the staff never introduced themselves—maybe a Korean custom? The location was decent, though the area felt a bit empty; the nearby towns are livelier and can be reached by car in just 5 minutes. When we arrived, the guesthouse host wasn’t present; only an employee from the restaurant handed us the key, which felt odd because we got no info about amenities like Wi‑Fi. We had to ask the host later at the restaurant for those details. Additionally, the shower was cold on the first day because the boiler wasn’t on, which was unfortunate; it might have been better if someone had greeted us at the pension.

The owner is the kindest person I’ve ever met; he went out of his way to make my stay comfortable and even took me out on his boat. I hope to visit him again in the future. Everything was perfect.
