We found the hotel to be a pleasant place to stay with a comfortable bed, TV, nice pool area, relaxed atmosphere, and parking; the rooms are very basic yet they do the job, and for the price we paid we were satisfied. It’s about a ten‑minute walk to the main square, and although we only stayed one night, in hindsight it might have been better to stay closer to the sights we wanted to see, since the central square is quiet in this small town but overall the location is fine. We enjoyed walking around, visiting Coffee Shop El Jardin for a nice coffee and spotting the pyramid from the garden, stopping at El Jardin Edith for a lovely brunch, climbing the pyramid, and checking out some local artisans. The downside was that the door didn’t quite line up with the floor and the mosquito net on the window was broken, so we had to bring our own net; a friend in another room didn’t have this problem.
