The place was in a good spot right next to the Kegs Steskhouse, had a decent parking offer, a pool and gym – everything was there and well maintained. The check‑in was chaotic: we had booked a double room with two queen beds, but they gave us a room with a king size bed. We were greeted on the TV with the wrong first name, online check‑in failed, and when we called reception we were told it was the wrong room and the check‑in details were wrong. An employee then took our passport and credit card and checked us in again, after which the internet worked. When we returned the documents, we noticed a missing bed. We didn’t want to change rooms again, so we stayed; the staff offered an extra mattress, which we declined. The breakfast vouchers were issued under the wrong names and the stay duration didn’t match either – overall, chaos.

We discovered breakfast was actually part of the room rate, though we had to go into town for it. The dinner options looked good to me, but my partner wanted to dine elsewhere. The dinner prices were high, and following the GPS to the parking lot was a little confusing.
