“A must stay!”
Baserah was a stunning property right in the middle of paradise; staying there felt like an experience rather than just a mountain getaway. Jasleen and Mayank looked after us with genuine care, going far beyond expectations with the food, hospitality and overall vibe.
“Hidden Gem in Jibhi! Exceptional Hospitality, Sustainable Luxury, and Unforgettable Experiences”
After more than five trips to Jibhi, I can say Baserah Stay & Cafe delivers the best views and hospitality in the valley. My female friends and I had an unforgettable time, especially thanks to Jasleen and the staff who were humble, patient and attentive, even arranging a cake and beautiful decor for a birthday. They organized a gentle trek to a hidden stream, cooked fresh noodles, pakoras and tea on-site using fallen wood logs, and baked pizza on a traditional mud stove (chulha) when we asked for it, which was delicious. The cottages are cozy, photogenic and spotless, and I appreciated their sustainability efforts, down to high‑quality bamboo toilet paper. The cafe offers spectacular mountain views, good music, board games and art supplies, creating a meditative atmosphere. As a female group we felt completely safe, and the property welcomes solo travelers, couples, families and elderly guests alike. It’s incredibly photogenic, peaceful and run by people with pure hearts, so I highly recommend it to anyone of any age and will definitely return. The only downside is that the roads in Jibhi are in poor condition; local drivers should be used for traveling within Jibhi and the market road should be widened to make travel easier for guests.
