Simply furnished rooms feature a writing desk and private bathroom. A summer restaurant serves traditional Norwegian cuisine. Breakfast had a lot of choices, the staff were a bit overwhelmed but very friendly and helpful, location close to the Park Polaire, beautiful view from the height over the fjord. The SPA was a bit small, no place to rest inside, and the Whirlpool lacked privacy because it was accessible from the garden and close to the terrace where you hear everyone’s conversations.

The stopover was fine, with a clean room and a good mattress; the young front‑desk staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, and the breakfast was decent. However, the restaurant food was not recommended, being too expensive for the poor quality.

Nice convenient location, clean, reasonably quiet, welcoming staff. Reasonable breakfast options and complimentary tea and coffee. The view from the room was a little disappointing, advertised as a partial sea view, we were expecting something a little more grander than a peek of water between the trees. There was also no kettle in the room, which really should be provided as standard rather than a feature of a premium room. The dinner menu was limited and a little disappointing in terms of quality for the amount paid. Tasty though

Breakfast was good but a bit small, the lobby was nicely decorated and the mountain views were great, and there was ample free parking. The coffee machine at breakfast was unbearably slow, and because the dinner menu and prices weren’t available beforehand we didn’t go out for dinner. The advertised nature trails could have been better marked, or marked at all.
