Nestled high up in a tiny village with mountain views, the chalet was a dream. We got a free upgrade, and the host was sweet—she brought us fresh bread every morning and didn’t charge us for it at the end of our five nights. Dogs are welcome for a reasonable €3.50 per night, and there’s a private parking spot right in front. The apartment is roomy, the kitchen is just enough for meals, the bed is comfy, and the bathroom is spacious.

The apartment’s gear is top‑notch—especially the bathroom with its fancy cosmetic mirror and a shower that has a pull‑out showerhead (which is a rare find). The sheets are great, and the bedroom lighting is on another level, with a bedside switch for night trips to the toilet. The kitchen has everything you’d need, making it cozy for two people in a prime quiet spot. The parking is right in front of the house. The only downside: no lemon squeezer in the kitchen, which is a minor gripe.
