The location is perfect for road trips via the highway. The hotel is comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. The parking is closed at night and otherwise safe. The restaurant is unfortunately closed on weekends. The breakfast could use some improvement.

The beds were very comfortable, but the bar fridge was missing. I had medication that needed to be stored in a fridge, so I asked reception to keep it in a cooler; they were very helpful, but it would have been ideal to have a proper fridge available.

The room was very comfortable with an excellent bed, and breakfast was also great. The hotel is 10 km from the city centre, about a 20‑minute drive. One night we arrived late and found the gate closed; there was no intercom, only a phone number that never answered. We tried several light tricks and eventually got the gate opened. I don’t understand why it was locked.

The Best Western chain was up to standard. However, we were charged twice for our room—once through Booking and once at the hotel—using our card details, which is unacceptable. Since then we have been fighting for at least a partial refund, but neither Booking nor the hotel has responded, constantly passing the issue back and forth despite our proof of double payment. This feels like a scam, and I would not recommend this place.

The beds were comfy and the linens were fresh, though the room didn’t feel or look the cleanest. I slept well overall, so it met my expectations. We booked this as a pit stop on our way back to the UK, arriving late and leaving after breakfast to continue our trip. I wanted a clean room with a comfortable bed and good breakfast, and this was a bit pricier than other options we considered, but we chose it for the location and the photos online. The room felt newly refurbished but not well cleaned; crumbs and dust lay on the carpet edge as if only the middle had been vacuumed. I can’t imagine what’s under the bed. Breakfast was bland but acceptable; the coffee was terrible—burned rubber taste, which is disappointing for someone who only drinks one cup a day.
