Having our own space in nature was great. The only complaint is the road works around the area, but that didn’t really bother us.

The spot is lovely, rural, perfect for listening to birds and stargazing. The outdoor deck is great for sharing a glass of wine and a platter. The kitchen is well stocked, the room is large, the bed is large, and the bathroom is large. I couldn’t use the under‑floor heating and missed having a TV to unwind since I forgot my book, but that was a minor issue.

Private bush location, very close to Te Arai Links golf course. Best to arrive in daylight if you can, down long gravel driveway. very clear instructions
