Guys, watch out! The listing says “PRIVATE POOL,” but it’s actually a shared pool. The description also fails to say that the room is part of a villa where the owner is staying—something that would influence whether you book. The owner is very rude; when I told him the pool didn’t match the “private pool” claim, he replied, “the pool is private because the neighbour does not use it! At this price if you are looking for something private, you’re making fun of me.” Also, there’s a studio in the same yard. This is a gross misrepresentation.

The suite was huge, the bedding super comfortable, and the room was well equipped with a large wardrobe. Located in a secure private residence, we had a pleasant and peaceful stay with no noise and a large pool at our disposal. Yves, our host, was attentive and discreet, and he even provided breakfast each morning—thanks Yves! Our 10‑day stay let us share many friendly and warm moments. By the end we felt at home! We’ve already planned to return… Highly recommend.

The pool was good. The place claims to be high‑end, but the price is high, the equipment is low quality, the appliances are cheap, the so‑called marble in the description is actually imitation marble tile, and the overall description is embellished and doesn’t match reality. On the first day there was no kettle; the host shared a coffee jug as a teapot, there was no corkscrew, no proper knives, the cutlery was dull metal, no decent glasses, no trash cans in the kitchen—only a large trash bag on the floor in the pantry/clearing next to the kitchen with food and peels that had been rotting for days, and an indescribable chaos in that pantry, hello sanitation standards, see photo. In the common area, a large living room that could be comfortable, except it is covered more or less happily with bed sheets as protection, probably because there are cats in the house, so you have to deal with these mammals, their bowls are on the floor in the kitchen, and they climb onto the counter… and the tables where you eat. No Wi‑Fi in the room, no trash can, the host gives you a raclette and a mop to recover water that drips from the shower because the door isn’t sealed! In the room, to charge your phone you have to unplug the lamp at the head of the bed, so no light… very practical. No safe, because guests don’t know how to use it and it’s always a bother. There would be more things to list, but I’ll stop there. The place could be good with necessary fixes, but today they’re not done, so you get the feeling you’re not getting your money’s worth.
