The hospitality and location were great, and host Andre was quick and courteous after my booking; he arranged an amazing two‑day jungle trek with his brother, where we slept in a beautiful little camp, and then joined me to Tangkahan for an unforgettable elephant experience, handling everything and being extremely friendly.

All three meals can be taken here, and the value for money is good. The staff are excellent, but most places don’t have hot shower water or air conditioning, so ask in advance if you need it. The booking for hiking and the accommodation itself are not tied together, which works well.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We booked a jungle trek at the guest house and it was fantastic; we saw several monkeys and the return trip down the river was top. Since we hadn’t planned everything in Sumatra yet, they helped us organize the rest of our trip, which was also well arranged.
