The location was very convenient, close to the border, and there is a restaurant nearby. The room is standard, with some signs of use, but overall it is quite clean. Pets are allowed.

The furniture was missing pieces, the electrical outlets were not fixed to the wall, and they tried to charge the room at 400 Ft/Eur while the booking site listed the price in local currency. We will never stay at this hotel again.

Before the trip I was a bit worried because I hadn’t read the reviews carefully, especially about cleanliness, but I decided not to change my plans and we stayed anyway. The place could use a refurbishment because some furniture is damaged (the nightstand’s top), the bathroom cabinet is worn, the carpet on the stairs is torn in spots, and the toilet seat was a bit loose, yet the cleanliness was good! The linens were clean and smelled nice. The restaurant is just a few meters away, the coffee is tasty, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly and polite, so I can only recommend it. The only thing that bothered me was that the mattress had a spring and the sheet kept sliding off the bottom, so I had to readjust it every morning; I hope they can fix that.

After crossing the border for just one night, this hotel was decent for the price. Right across the street is a café that opens at 08.00 where you can grab breakfast. The furniture, however, needs some repair.

The value for money is solid, the breakfast is tasty and plentiful, and the room is quiet. The showerhead was positioned too high.
