The house’s location is superb, the rooms feel cozy, the kitchen is spacious, the bedding is excellent, and there’s even a power converter available. It’s no wonder this place consistently scores above 9.5. The photos are too dark; the actual space looks much better.

The place is quiet, the couch is comfy, and the bed is comfortable, but the shower was slippery and could be a fall hazard. I wish the property had been flexible with changing reservation dates, and a TV would have been a nice addition.

The only issue we had (not the hosts’ fault) was a group of five men in the neighboring room who stayed partying late into the night, occupying the shared living room, drinking beer and other drinks, and playing cards until about 1 AM.

Almost perfect. The hosts personally greeted us, explained everything, and showed us the local sights, which felt warm in a country where self‑check‑in is common. The room, living area, and kitchen are all spacious and clean, with fully equipped cookware and a large bathroom. Check‑out is allowed until 12:00 PM, which is very convenient, especially for travelers heading to or from Snæfellsnes. The price is very reasonable, and booking two rooms essentially gives you the whole house (the hosts stay on the upper floor, of course). No complaints.
