I didn’t like anything. The single‑person room was a converted cellar, and the walls echoed sounds from other rooms, waking us up. There were spider webs, and a spider was on the wall.

“Hotel top, Gastgeber ein Flop”

The rooms and restaurant are nicely appointed and give a very polished impression. The “welcome” didn’t even merit that name—we weren’t greeted at all, just handed a registration form and told to fill it out correctly, then given two keys instead of the one we expected. When we asked for the booked two‑bedroom apartment, we were bluntly told, “We don’t have it!” with no explanation. The next morning we tried to have breakfast at 8 am and found the door locked; eventually a staff member noticed us and opened it, but we sat ignored at a table until 8:35 am before the friendly employee from the night before finally appeared, saying without a “good morning” that breakfast is generally known to start at 9 am. He never clarified what “generally known” meant, and there was no mention of this at check‑in, on the room or in the confirmation. Only then was a pot of coffee placed on our table, and we could finally eat at 9 am. The breakfast was tasty and the coffee helped us stay awake after a sleepless night caused by the simple glass windows and the busy road in front. The hotel is otherwise more than okay, but the service was a disaster.

“Geweldig verblijf.”

Everything was very neat and clean. Checking in was easy by phone and following the instructions. The beds were good, and the rooms were very tidy and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. No comments.

“Brilliant stay thanks”

The manager who we met on our arrival was very friendly, helpful and gave us a cracking resturant recommendation for that evening as their resturant was closed. We are 2 blokes on a motorbike holiday so the small apartment with 2 bedrooms was perfect
