“Amazon adventures await”

The stay with my son at Charlie’s place turned out to be fantastic! The spot sits just outside town, yet walking to it is easy and the area is peaceful and quiet. We booked two cabañas that were both comfortable and spotless. The tours arranged through Charlie were enjoyable and taught us a lot about the Amazon and its people. José, who spoke English, guided us throughout our visit, was friendly, and cooked a tasty breakfast. He’s a real asset to Cabanñas Dechi. Thanks to Charlie and his lovely family for a wonderful stay and thanks to José for all the adventures! Nothing to dislike.

Everyone was very friendly, offered incredible activities with amazing support, and you learn a lot. Highly recommended. The only downside is the lack of good curtains.

I had a wonderful stay in these great huts right in nature! The accommodation is run by an incredibly warm Colombian family who gave fantastic advice and can organize great tours. They know the area inside out. My personal budget tip for all travelers: contact “NAINEKÜ Amazon trip” for great, local, and indigenous tours at absolutely fair prices! The highlight in the garden was the little alligator in the pond and, of course, the incomparable hospitality of this family. I felt completely comfortable and would love to come back! The only thing missing on site is breakfast, but a great alternative is available: from 8:00 a.m. the Restaurant Amazonas in Puerto Nariño opens, where you can fuel up for the day.
