“Great location - could do better.”

The location was good on a quiet residential street, close to a main tram route into central Amsterdam, with plenty of restaurants and cafés within walking distance and very near Vondel Park, which is great for walks. The luxury apartment was oddly equipped: it had a good coffee machine and fridge, but no tea spoons. It also had a cheese board, yet no knives or plates that would have been useful. The shower was very large and great. I can’t really compare because I haven’t stayed in Amsterdam before, but I’m not sure “luxurious” is the right tag; it’s good, but expensive.

The owner was friendly and responded quickly, the location near Vondelpark was great, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom lacked shelves and hooks for toiletries and towels.

A spacious room on a quiet street, just 500 m from the tram stop, 1 km to the big museums and 3 km to the city centre. The hotel room was mid‑range, but the sparkling wine bottle was a nice little surprise, and there were plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The only downside was the moldy, rather dusty room plants.
