“I would not stay here again”
The location was great, with easy access to the main attractions and surrounding areas, and the owner was quite polite. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was almost non‑existent; the room and bathroom were not properly cleaned, and the walls were very worn and needed maintenance. There was no wardrobe, and a door that we initially thought led to one turned out to be used by the owner for storage. We also had to pay an additional €40 for a check‑in after 8 PM, plus a city tax of €7 per person per day, both requested in cash, which felt odd and, for the €40 late check‑in fee, like a scam. I’ve been to Rome many times and stayed in several accommodations, but this was by far the dirtiest one I’ve encountered. I can’t understand the positive reviews, especially since they were a main reason for choosing this place. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.
