“The Spinney is a fabulous place to stay in style & comfort and explore the local area”
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the Spinney’s appearance, location, and facilities. The main room is fabulous, with massive beams, beautiful décor, spectacular bi‑folding panoramic doors, and an exceptionally well‑appointed kitchen. Many welcoming touches made our stay pleasant, such as the provision of basic essentials (tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, salt, cleaning products, etc.), logs for the fire pit, and a kit for the superb BBQ. All equipment is of a very high standard, a real credit to the owners, Kate & Tom. The Spinney is well placed for visits to Evesham, Broadway, Tewkesbury, Bidford, Chipping Camden, etc., and the Cotswold walks are fabulous. I recommend walking up Bredon Hill—the view from the top over the Vale of Evesham is great. Plenty of nearby eateries include the Vinyeard pub, which offers simple, value‑for‑money pub grub, but we ate in the kitchen most nights. The only issue was that the shower room door handle was a bit difficult to turn.
