I was really pleased with the staff and the comfortable rooms, especially considering the reasonable price. I love this place, but I would have been even happier if it were free.

“Not a good buy.”

When I checked in, the clerk handed me a cold bottle of water and kept greeting me. The room, however, had a moldy odor, screw holes in the wall above the bed, a loose shower curtain rod on both ends, and a curtain that wouldn’t stay closed. Rust appeared on the bathroom trim, a piece of trim was missing, and there were spots on the wall behind the toilet. The toilet didn’t flush well, and there wasn’t enough light for shaving or makeup even with all lights on. I doubt the swimming pool had any chemicals; the steps were slimy and the water had white clumps floating. Breakfast was not worth the effort, had no protein, and the juice machine was broken.

The room was clean, but when I arrived the property manager canceled my reservation because he couldn’t reach me by phone to confirm. I explained repeatedly that I was at a funeral, yet he remained hostile and rude, insisting he had no obligation to hold the room.

“Go somewhere else if possible”

Nothing! The room was nasty, dirty, hot, and smelled like mold. A blunt was found in my son’s room too. The owner was very rude and claimed only one of the two rooms I paid for on booking existed, so I will never return or use either.
