The remote desert setting was known to us beforehand. The host was chatty yet attentive, offering useful local suggestions. Meeting another couple with many shared interests was a highlight. The grounds were gorgeous, and I kept photographing them. The patio’s quiet atmosphere was perfect for my morning devotion, especially with the sounds of roosters and cows. The bed felt a bit firm, and the unexpected “double shower” between our rooms was a bit uncomfortable.

The home feels magical, and Ernest’s warm energy makes you feel special. He’s the sweetest person you’ll meet. The natural surroundings are calming. Everything is clean and well maintained. It’s a great spot to stay, and I’ll keep coming back each festival season. I didn’t find anything I disliked, which is rare for me.
