The view facing the river was nice. The front‑desk staff were less than helpful.

The pool was a blast and the staff were very kind and attentive! Breakfast was the best. The late‑check‑out fee was way too high—up to 50 % of the room charge. That was excessive.

Staying in a room on the 28th floor gave me a great view, and the canapés and cocktail service that started at 5:30 pm on the 29th floor was enjoyable, but aside from those two perks there was nothing that made me think “wow.” Of course, both required an extra charge, so you have to pick a pricey room. I checked in at 3 pm, arrived at 2:30 pm and waited in the 29th‑floor lounge, only to receive my key after 3 pm, and it turned out they had almost handed my key to another guest before giving it back to me, which felt chaotic. Other hotels usually let you in a few minutes before the official time, so this delay was odd. Breakfast was served on the 4th floor, not the 29th, and I didn’t like the coffee or fruit; finding a seat was difficult and the food seemed half‑hearted, not matching the brand’s standards. I asked for an airport drop‑off; they promised a car at check‑in but a van showed up the next morning, making the vehicle type question pointless and inconvenient. Overall I felt treated like a generic customer, especially since the breakfast staff all wore the same stern expressions, and there wasn’t much around the hotel. After staying at My Khe Beach and An Bang Beach, the value for money fell short, and I wish I’d known that Da Nang and Hoi An have more characterful, friendly hotels. Travel is personal, so my experience isn’t universal, but I realized that brand and price matter less than personal taste.

We stayed at an amazing hotel with a great location, view, and amenities, and we really wanted to extend our stay. The only downside was that laundry costs were pricier than at other hotels, but that didn’t ruin the experience and we hope to return.

The beds and pillows were excellent, the view was great, and the staff were very friendly. However, the light switches were awkwardly placed and hard to use, the elevators moved slowly, and the glass door to the toilet felt excessively heavy.
