AT SEA Patong

The location is great. On the day I left, the receptionist helped me arrange transport to the airport. The taxi driver got lost trying to find the property, which worried me because I had a flight to catch. After 15 minutes with no taxi, the receptionist and the driver were on the phone but still couldn’t locate the place. The receptionist quickly closed the office, grabbed her scooter, and told me to hop on. She had the driver wait at a nearby landmark five minutes away and then met me at the taxi. She acted smart enough to see that I could miss my flight and decided to get me to the taxi ASAP. I don’t know her name, but she was working early on the morning of 31 August. I hope her employer reads this and realizes how indispensable she is to the business. The place itself was great and offered good value for money.

The sea view from the balcony and the hammock were nice, and having free beach loungers under the building is a bonus. The bed was too hard.

The view was brilliant. The stairs were a problem.

The view from Patong is unbeatable, and the rooms are gorgeous with great vistas. The staff were fantastic, but the staircase is treacherous—it's a steep climb because the hotel sits on a cliff face and the rooms are stacked. The beach and restaurant sit at the bottom of those stairs, so if you’re up for a workout it’s a perfect challenge 😅.

“Great sea view”

The room’s view is breathtaking, and the sea looks beautiful no matter the weather. The bed faces the ocean, so you can watch it anytime. Mr. Dave from the front desk was very friendly and helped me with parking. However, the hammock is too dirty to even touch, let alone lie on; it needs to be cleaned or removed. The location is also a bit hard to find.
