The apartment is just a ten‑minute walk to the city centre, which was super convenient. Unfortunately I never saw any staff around, the trash cans went three days without being emptied, and on the day I left I had no idea where I was supposed to drop the key.

We liked that there was a secure spot for our bikes and the breakfast voucher was a nice touch for a one‑night stay. The room was chilly and there was no kettle, so we couldn’t make tea when we wanted it. It’s a brand‑new place, so I’m sure they’ll sort those little issues out.

The hotel sits in a quiet cul‑de‑sac and the parking right in front of the building was handy. Inside, however, the room was dusty, the bathroom mirror was filthy, the shower seal was broken and also dirty, and the bathroom door slammed loudly every time. The bed was just a simple mattress that kept sliding around, so I couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep.

No breakfast was provided, but they offered a voucher you could use at a local café, which was a nice alternative. The heating, though, couldn’t be adjusted from the room—you had to text the host each time you wanted a change, which was inconvenient.
