The cuisine was excellent with a seasonal selection in the half‑board. We enjoyed several superb game dishes, and vegetarians had a nice variety too; the service was very attentive. Sauna, pool, and fitness options were convenient and clean. The breakfast buffet was plentiful—fine coffee, many fruit juices, fresh fruit, pancakes, croissants, pastries, muesli, various jams, salmon, assorted sausages, fine Black Forest ham, liver sausage, assorted breads, cold milk, yoghurts. A small issue: the shower seals should be replaced when possible.

The breakfast and evening dinner were generous, the hotel’s location was great, and the staff were top‑class. It was a pity that the front desk staff didn’t speak any French.

The location was nice, the breakfast offered a wide variety, but the reheated rolls weren't great; in a 4‑star hotel I'd expect fresh ones. Still, there were many options to choose from and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our room wasn’t cleaned properly, which was disappointing for this price range in Germany – I expect flawless hygiene. The TV had smudges, surfaces looked unclean, the toothbrushes weren’t fresh, and the nightstand had dirt on it.

Having a kettle with tea/coffee in the room would have taken the stay to the next level; the air conditioner was fine.

The pool service was good, but on these hot days an air conditioner would have been ideal.
