The staff greeted me warmly and were helpful when I reported a shower problem. The beach is conveniently close. However, the room smelled moldy upon arrival, which is unacceptable for an old hotel. There was no hot water and the pressure was very low. The staff investigated, and it took about five minutes for hot water to arrive. A maintenance man manually rubbed the showerhead, slightly improving pressure, but that was just a temporary fix. The room shouldn’t be rented out until the issue is properly resolved.
