The hosts were very welcoming and the accommodation sits amid vineyards – a spot I’d recommend.

The room was nice and pleasant, and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful; he spoke a bit of English, while the housewife only spoke French. The couple’s private pool was available, and the extensive, delicious breakfast was enjoyed on the private terrace surrounded by the countryside. However, note that the place is not within walking distance of a place for an afternoon drink or dinner, as it is too far; you’ll need to start the car to reach the city centre via the narrow roads.
